Most people feel the benefits of treatment after a few sessions. However, the total number of sessions required depends on several factors. Psychological research indicates that clients typically require between 5 and 15 sessions. However, Hope Psychology does provide longer-term psychotherapy if appropriate.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice.
Sometimes situations such as sudden illness or unexpected personal emergencies can occur. If this is the case, please contact Hope Psychology as soon as possible.
We need you to give us 24 hours’ notice so that we can to offer another person the session you couldn’t use. There are always a number of people on our cancellation list with urgent problems, waiting for an appointment. This is particularly the case in our area.
For this reason a $70 fee will be charged for less than 24 hours’ cancellation of a session, or if you forget to attend.
Please feel free to phone the Hope Psychology practice at any time and reschedule your appointment with our receptionist or leave a message on our answering machine if it’s after hours.
